During the spring of 2025, I completed an internship at the Centro Superior de Hostelería y Gastronomía (CSHG) in Santiago de Compostela, Spain. Throughout this experience, I gained valuable insight into Spanish workplace culture, the structure of an academic institution tied closely to the hospitality industry, and the importance of professional relationships in an international setting. Immersed in a fully Spanish-speaking environment, I was able to further strengthen my language skills while navigating professional communication on a daily basis. CSHG is a prestigious institution specializing in hospitality, gastronomy, and tourism management, with strong ties to industry leaders worldwide.

During my time at CSHG, I worked primarily within the marketing department, supporting a variety of branding and communication initiatives. My responsibilities included creating and refining content for the institution’s website and social media platforms, assisting with promotional materials, and contributing creative solutions under tight deadlines. This role allowed me to combine my academic background in international business with practical experience in marketing and communication within a global and culturally rich environment.

Below, I have included a sample of a presentation I completed for student recruitment purposes, as well as  a detailed reflection, in Spanish, analyzing my internship experience at CSHG, the projects I contributed to, and key cultural observations comparing professional environments in Spain and the United States.
